Hello To All:
First, I want to thank George. The forum he has created has allowed me to be more free with posting topics thta could never be posted on the other forum.
There is a opportunity with brokering Luxury Assets. Lets say you come across a private jet that is being sold by a corporation that cannot afford this perk any longer. Lets say it is a 2004 Citation 10. Now in 2004, this jet would have cost you $13,000,000.00 to buy. In 2009, it could be bought used for $5,000,000.00.
Now lets say you talk to the seller and obtain a listing to sell that jet, and they tell you they would like to get the highest offer they can get, with the minimum they will accept being $1,400,000.00
You would go to the website, www.luxuryassetnetwork.com and you do a listing. Now, lets say a dealer contacts you and says he is interested in buying the plane and is prepared to pay immediately by wire transfer $1,800,000.00. You take a deep breath and contact the seller and tell them you have a offer at $1,600,000.00, payable immediately and they say yes, we will take it.
You just closed a deal and made the difference between $1,600,000.00 and $1,800,000.00 which is $200,000.00. The beauty is that you can do it over and over again, with planes, yachts, cars, motor homes, and others.
In the deal above, you could have said $1,400,000.00 to the seller and pocketed $400,000.00 but you don't ever want to be greedy. Would they have taken $1,400,000.00? probably not, but at $1,600,000.00, they would have and anyone would.
For those of you that live in Florida, New York, Washington DC Area, Atlanta, California, Texas, the playing field is there for you to have a run at.
Any questions, drop me a line.
Regards,
Jimmy B
